Zayn Malik (and his single strand of hair) has long been the object of our affections (and by affections, we mean semi-stalking), so it's no surprise that he's been voted Britain's Sexiest Asian Male Star.

And his Queen? The gorgeous Jasmin Walia from TOWIE. Bit gutted for his Veronica alter-ego but we'll take this.

Zayn and Jasmin have been named King and Queen after over 10 MILLION votes were cast in a worldwide poll run by Eastern Eye magazine. FOUR FOR YOU ZAYN AND JASMINE, YOU GO ZAYN AND JASMINE.
Zayno, who's bearing a massive resemblence to Aladdin these days (that's a really good thing, FYI), even managed a top ten spot in the sexiest Asian men in the ENTIRE WORLD, coming in a respectable ninth place.
Basically, well done for being proper fit and beautiful and all that.

Jasmine also managed a worldwide placing, coming in at number 32 which is pretty impressive stuff.
Asjad Nazir, showbiz editor of Eastern Eye spoke of Jasmine's success in the poll, saying: "Although she has a rapidly growing male fan base, I think Jasmin Walia is becoming a success because she is connecting to the everyday individual and bridging the gap between cultures.
"She has expressed a desire to work in Bollywood and I think they would welcome her. She is a very ambitious girl and I am fully expecting her to make waves internationally in the coming years."

Zayn, who is half Pakistani and comes from a Muslim family, has already received offers from Bollywood, both to appear in some sort of film and/or to deliver his own Bollywood-inspired song.

Asjad also discussed his global appeal, adding: "Zayn has a huge global fan base especially on social media and has more fans in India than many of the biggest Bollywood stars. He regularly trends across Twitter in the sub-continent more than any other British celebrity.
