12 YEARS OLD NIGERIAN GIRL BECOMES YOUNGEST MOVIE MAKER IN THE WORLD

image Zuriel Oduwole, 12 year old Nigerian girl, made history as the youngest person ever to be interviewed in Forbes, the global iconic magazine title. The interview with the award winning documentary film maker, conference speaker and writer is featured in the August 2013 edition of Forbes Africa.


After becoming the youngest person in the world at age 10 in 2013 to be featured in Forbes magazine, Zuriel Oduwole, who showed her newest documentary titled A Promising Africa at the Film House Cinema chain in Lagos on November 27th and 28th, became the youngest person in the world to show their work in a commercial movie theatre.The documentary moved to London last week, on a limited and early release schedule.

Why I’m I crazy about this girl? Well, that’s because, at 12, this documentary film maker has interviewed 14 presidents and prime ministers, and many other social figures like the Williams sisters and the richest black man on earth, Aliko Dangote. She’s also the founder of ”Speak up. Dream up. Stand up”, a campaign she started to advocate for the education of the girl child.
