Bayern Munich, PSG & Barcelona are Europe’s passing wizards
Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are the most prolific passers in Europe, with the  Bundesliga champions leading the Huawei Team Ranking ahead of second-placed PSG and the Primera Division giants in third.  

Pep Guardiola’s men average an impressive 756.33 passes per game so far this season - accumulating 6807 passes in nine matches - with their superb handling of the ball seeing them top of the German top flight.  

PSG have been equally dominant in possession and make 689.27 passes per game, leading to second place in the Ligue 1 table, just four points behind leaders Olympique de Marseille following their 3-0 win over Bordeaux at the weekend.  

Barcelona, meanwhile, have remained loyal to their successful Tiki-Taka style under new head coach Luis Enrique and make 671 passes on average.  

Manchester City and Arsenal are the Premier League’s top representatives in the passing rankings, with the   titleholders making 620.89 passes per match against the Gunners' 620.44 passes, a difference of just four passes after nine games.  

Roma are the sixth and last team to average more than 600 passes per week (618.88), with Juventus   (582.88), Everton (573.22), Real Madrid (570.78), and Manchester United (551.78) completing the top 10.  

At the bottom end of the table, Crystal Palace and Chievo have endured a tough time so far this season and have been unable to average more than 300 passes per game, with Metz, Eibar and Paderborn the sides with the fewest passes from France, Spain and Germany respectively.
